About The Event
1/25 8PM at The Robin Theatre we will be screening the Lolita fashion frenzy Kamikaze Girls. This super stylish coming of age movie by Tetsuya Nakashima, who I'll call the Japanese Tarantino or Edgar Wright, will leave you asking the question; are they gay?
Doors open at 7PM for a coffee and snack chill hour, and as if I could let you leave a Japanese themed film night without forcing a dark Cyberpunk world upon you. During that hour we will also being showing the classic short Anatomia Extinction set to a playlist of unbelievably good Japanese pop-punk, shoegaze, and twee. This night will also mark the return of our full menu, what I'm calling Bong 2: Unrippable. Syphon coffees, soda, tea, and snacks will all be available!
