About The Event
What better way to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day than with a book crawl celebrating eight of Lansing's wonderfully eclectic indie bookstores?
Visit each participating bookshop to collect a pin- either by making a purchase or buying the pin for $1 during crawl hours, 11am-4pm. (Individual shop hours vary, but we will all be open during this time frame.) Once you've collected all eight pins, take them into The Robin Books in REO Town and proudly display them to the shopkeep, who will then reward your efforts with a FREE limited-edition, commemorative Independent Bookstore Day 2024 tote, AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

Wayfaring Booksellers, 1023 S. Washington Ave. (REO Town): Find the golden ticket and win 12 FREE audiobook credits with Libro.fm!
The Robin Books, 1105 S. Washington Ave. (REO Town): Poetry workshop with The People’s Atelier (1pm)
Deadtime Stories, 1132 S. Washington Ave. (REO Town): Signing with best-selling true crime author Tobin T. Buhk (1-5pm) Ice cream cart, mystery book boxes, 4 for $20 clearance book sale, limited edition merch, prize wheel, giveaways, and more!
Socialight Society, 5454 W. Saginaw Hwy. (Lansing Mall): Local author showcase featuring readings, signings, and performances!
In addition to the book crawl and individual events, Deadtime Stories, Socialight Society, and Wayfaring Booksellers are also participating in the statewide MI Book Hop, which begins on Indie Bookstore Day and runs through May 27th! (Visit the MI Bookhop page for more info.)
