Join book-loving Lansing-ites, poets, authors and booksellers for a celebration of written and spoken words! The Lansing Book Party is a city-wide event, featuring a BOOK CRAWL, pop-up open mics, workshops and author events, as well as a spoken word poetry show featuring Ephraim Nehemiah & Friends!

**This is a grassroots, community event, created and operated by local indie booksellers. We hope you'll buy some books, but it's otherwise pretty much free to attend. We don't have corporate sponsors or agendas, just an abiding love of books and a belief that Lansing can be a fun and interesting place to live. Thanks for being a part of this- have fun!**

11AM-6PM: BOOK CRAWL
Visit each participating bookstore, collect a button, and receive custom Lansing Book Party merch at the end! *While supplies last, see list below for participating stores! **Some stores open at 10AM, others at 11AM, check each location's info.
10-6: A Novel Concept Dear Ollie Postcard Party!
10-6: Wayfaring Booksellers RCAH Center for Poetry Wheelbarrow Books onsite with info about the Wheelbarrow Books Poetry Prize.
11AM: CADL Downtown Cassie Veselovsky Storytime Local children's book author

12-3: Blue Owl (REO Town) Shut Up & Write w/ Matthew Rossi
12-6PM: Everybody Reads Pop On In!: An afternoon of creative writing activities and reading

2:30-4:00PM: Everybody Reads Pop-Up Podcasts and Casual Conversations with Bonnie Jo Campbell and area writers
