Adam Burke returns to The Robin! Burke's standup comedy has earned him a regular spot on NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, and a following around the globe. Special guest Aaron Putnam (and host Ellie Snyder) will take the stage as well. Doors at 7PM, show at 7:30. More info below!

BYOB: Essentially, you can BYOB to the show if you buy it at Sleepwalker Spirits and Ale, next door to The Robin. REO Town is a social district that allows open alcoholic beverages to be consumed and carried inside its borders, as long as they're purchased at an bar/pub in the district. About Adam Burke:
Originally from Ireland (by way of Australia and England...long story), Adam Burke has been performing comedy in Chicago and throughout the U.S. for over 15 years. He is a fixture on showcases and clubs throughout the Midwest and beyond. He is a regular panelist on NPR's popular comedy quiz show "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" and was a writer for WGN's "Man of the People with Pat Tomasulo." Voted Best Standup by readers of The Chicago Reader in 2014, he was also the winner of Second City's Up Next Comedy Competition. He has appeared at numerous festivals including the High Plains Comedy Festival (Denver, CO), Bridgetown Comedy (Portland OR), Just for Laughs (Chicago, IL; four years running), and the local stage of Funny Or Die's Oddball Comedy Festival. Burke released his debut album Universal Squirrel Theory on A Special Thing Records in 2012.
About Aaron Putnam:
Aaron Putnam is a stand up comedian and has a podcast with his wife called Manchild & The Yogi . Currently based out of Chicago, by way of NYC, you can catch him touring the country and playing local clubs. You may have seen him in Chicago at Zanies, Laugh Factory Chicago and so many other legendary venues. Aaron is 1/2 of Only Fans Comedy residency at the historic Music Box Theater. Aaron is a recovery addict, performs and mentors others at treatment centers across the USA. His material is said to be raw, honest and disarmingly funny.
