Handlebar 10th Anniversary Showing

Handlebar is the second feature film from Rebel Pictures and award-winning filmmaker Michael McCallum. We're celebrating it's 10th Anniversary. It's crazy to think this film was released in 2010.

"Dwayne and Benny have been hired by mobster kingpin, Manny, to kidnap the daughter of a rival gang boss.

But when the duo mistakenly snatch Manny's own daughter, Meghan, all hell cuts loose as they try to get themselves out of trouble and evade Manny's brutal enforcer, Rueben "The Cuban."

The film won 5 awards and received 6 other nominations on the film festival circuit and played all over the world. It  also won Best Michigan Feature at the Ferndale Film Festival in 2010.

This evening will include a short comedy, The Pewter Bros., that Rebel Pictures made for last year's Capital City Film Festival's Fortnight Film Contest and a QnA moderated by local writer and film enthusiast, Mary Cusack, with Michael McCallum and his Father William C. McCallum.

Tickets are $10 at the door. Seating is limited so get there early.
