Hiroya is a one-of-a-kind composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan. He began playing the five-string banjo when he was thirteen, and took up the guitar shortly after.
We love hosting Hiroya every year or two, when he's passing through Michigan on his cross-country tours. He brings wonderful stories, original fingerstyle guitar compositions, and his trusty looping pedal. He's extremely mellow and down-to-Earth, while also being brilliant and award-winning (read below)! A show with Hiroya is a meditative, charming and beautiful experience. Join us!
