, and are teaming up for a spoken-word showcase! “City is Mine” will be a positive night that celebrates our city, diversity, and equality. Donations from this event will go to support the great work of Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center, like the recent George Floyd Mural (part of Art Path, painted by Isaiah Lattimore). This night will feature short performances from eight poets, who will share intimate entry points into the conversation about equality. The audience should expect daring expressions of living, inclusivity, culture, celebration, community, and positivity. Witnessing is the basis of doing better. Come join us and celebrate.
