The REO Town Book Party is a celebration of written and spoken words, and a collaboration between writers, neighbors and booksellers! Most events occur 12-6PMish.
12-6PM: Pop-up sidewalk market. (REO Town)
12-6PM: Book Crawl! *While supplies last. (Across Lansing)
12PM: Ghostbuster Spooky Story Time w/ Ryan Holmes (Deatime Stories)
1:30PM: Poetry Workshop with Siaara Freeman! (The Robin)
3PM: SwampFire and Friends Book Signing and Readings (Everybody Reads)
5PM: Poetry Showcase with Siaara Freeman! (The Robin)
8:30PM: After-party (Marcus' House, 119 E. Elm)

Book Crawl: Visit each of the participating booksellers, collect a pin, and get a free book tote when you make it to the end! Participants: - Deatime Stories - The Robin Books - Wayfaring Booksellers - A Novel Concept - Socialight Society - Everybody Reads - The Resistance.
Buttons are free with a purchase or $1 each.
*Bags can be claimed at Deadtime Stories and The Robin Books, while supplies last
Pop-up Market: Visit REO Town for a walkable street market, produced by Vintage Junkies! Book-adjacent vendors and local artisans will delight you with their wares!

Poetry Events at The Robin: Thanks to the Lansing Poet Laureate and The Poetry Room, The Robin Theatre will host a poetry workshop with Siaara Freeman (1:30PM) and a free poetry showcase featuring Siaara Freeman (5PM). RSVP is recommended, as seating is limited.

SwampFire and Friends Book Signing and Reading: Authors Mike Copperman, Cait West, Mary Catherine Harper, and Dawn Burns will be signing books and giving pop-up readings at Everybody Reads from 12-6, with a featured reading of all four writers scheduled for 3:00. Stop by to visit, celebrate books, and hear stories and poems!
