Three rising stars in the Michigan spoken word and literary scene, please join Allison, Grace and Isabella for an intimate evening of performance poetry and stories in their collaborative "Write Our Feelings" tour.

Allison Spooner's genre-crossing flash fiction crams entire worlds into tidy, pocket-sized packages. Host of The Creative Collective in Mason, MI, Allison is also a creative leader of The Artist's Umbrella in Downtown Lansing. Author of two flash-fiction collections, Allison's next literary adventures cover non-fiction, true to life stories of addiction, grief, family and music, as well as using yoga as a path to self-expression and creative freedom.

Grace Carras may be soft spoken but hers is a voice worth listening for. Grace is a 2018 College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational (CUPSI) Semi-Finalist, 2019 Mark Ritzenhein Emerging Author Award Winner and self proclaimed "Professional Nerd." Her poem "For The Poets Who Gather Here" is literally etched into the streets of Michigan’s Capital City, and Finishing Line Press will release her first chapbook, "Quiet Kid," in 2020.

Isabella J Mansfield's voice has been heard on stages throughout the US, in multiple countries, and for a time, in a repurposed phone booth in Flagstaff, AZ. She writes her experiences with anxiety, body image, intimacy and the human condition and hates traditional poetry "rules." She won the 2018 Mark Ritzenhein Emerging Author Award. Her chapbook, "The Hollows of Bone," was released in 2019 by Finishing Line Press and earned a Pushcart Prize Nomination.

Allison, Grace and Isabella each offer a unique voice and perspective on the idiosyncrasies of life that connect us all.
